An open-world project whose game mechanics are based on the construction of industrial cities and car battles. Exploring the available spaces (7 dazzling alien locations), players search for collectibles and local creatures (Illuvials). They, in turn, can be used both for themselves and for sale on a decentralized marketplace.
The game is currently in closed beta testing, which can be joined only if you have a key from the developers. To get it, you need to register, provide data, and answer a few questions. After that, you will only have to wait and hope that the key with access will arrive in the mail.
Illuvium is a triple-A project with excellent graphics and diverse gameplay: there is an open world, strategy elements, and auto-check. The game is a bit like Pokémon GO – you need to collect and train special NFT creatures, send them to fights with opponents. Each creature has its own unique proteins, stats, and appearance.
Also, in the open world, you can search and collect various resources, such as ore, and fight with creatures of other players. The combat system is an auto-check, where you need to correctly place team members on the battlefield to have the best chance of winning.
It is not yet known how the game’s economy will be built, but most likely the main profit will be tied to NFT. Probably, the collected resources can be spent on improving creatures or converting them into a token.
Illuvium is developed by professional developers with extensive experience. However, the project has already faced its first difficulties. Due to the fact that the game token was issued long before the game’s release, its current price differs from ATH by 45 times. This is a clear indicator of the token’s insolvency. It does not have any utility, the only thing you can do with it is to send it to staking, which does not cover the drop rate.
Illuvium looks promising, the game really corresponds to the level of Triple-A projects. The main disadvantage is the problem with the token. The fact that it was released long before the game’s release looks like a big scam. Even if this is not the case, there is still no point in buying the token – it will definitely not be able to reach its ATH before the project is released, and speculating on the price is extremely risky.
Even if the game turns out to be successful, the economy in it will most likely be built in a completely different way than it is now.
